4/25/25 – Original and complete WWII U.S. Army canteen rig in great collectible condition. This set includes a 1944-dated aluminum canteen marked “U.S. MACO,” showing honest field wear and patina. The olive drab canvas canteen cover is U.S.-marked and retains faded but visible ink stamps on the back, likely indicating its wartime manufacturer and date. One of the cover’s ears, which has a metal insert, shows a slight tear, but the overall integrity and functionality remain solid. The matching first aid/compass pouch is also U.S.-marked with faint, illegible ink stamps, a functional snap, and strong stitching. The khaki M1936 pistol belt rounds out the set, featuring blackened brass grommets, a solid buckle, and minimal wear throughout. All items are original, period-correct, and appear to have been field-used together, making this a fantastic representative set for collectors, displays, or reenactment.
