Description
4/3/23 – This is a K98 issued to Nazi military in 1944. All original and matching, with the proper military acceptance proofs throughout. The stock is not externally numbered, but there are Waffen proofs on the right side of the butt stock. It has retained roughly 85% of its finish with some minor thinning and light spotty wear throughout. Spotty oxidation on the barrel, front barrel band, and butt plate. Very nice wood stock, with one gouge in the upper handguard, and a hairline crack on the upper side of the wrist. Comes with period correct sling and cleaning rod. The bore has strong rifling, with pin pricking in the grooves.
