10/9/23 – This is a nice AC 44 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. All matching with the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout. The bluing rates about 90%. The frame has a really nice plum color to it. Almost all of the wear is on the front strap. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is noticeable spotty oxidation on the front strap and some tiny pits here and there along the slide and on the barrel. Fitted with period-correct bakelite grips and comes with a rare, late-war, “U” marked magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
