3/8/23 – This is a very nice example of a Fazakerley No 5 Mk 1 “Jungle Carbine” issued to the British military in March of 1945. It is all matching and has the proper British proofs throughout. It has retained about 90% of its original black enamel finish. There is light spotty wear and chipping in the finish along the barrel, some light flaking in the finish on the trigger assembly, and some wear on the magazine, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Minty wood stock. Comes with a nice canvas sling. Very nice bore with good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.
