8/24/23 – This is a nice example of a Smith & Wesson Model K-22 Masterpiece Revolver, manufactured in 1948. It is all matching and chambered in .22 LR. It has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is wear around the muzzle, general high edge wear, and a roll mark on the cylinder. The most obvious sign of finish loss is thinning and spotty oxidation along both sides of the barrel. Excellent case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with nice hand-checkered wood grips – a small scratch at the top of the left side and a small chip on the bottom edge of the right side. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight, and the action is smooth.
