9/2/25 – This is an excellent example of an Austin Behlert Custom Colt Commander chambered in .45 ACP. This gun is in excellent condition and a rare find as Behlert Customs are hard to come by. The gun comes with a photocopy of the original NJ pistol permit (dated 2-20-73) that lists the seller as “A.F. Behlert”. The gun has a very nice flat nickel finish with very little wear, just a few light surface marks here and there. Fitted with smooth wood medallion grips. Mint bore. Very smooth action.
