4/9/26- For sale is a WW2 era 25 year Civil Service decoration. These medals were awarded for long service working for the government or public sector work, including military and police years. The 25 year medal was the lowest rank awarded and therefore the most common. The medal displays a swastika in the center of a cross surrounded by a wreath. The silver finish is worn away in several places but there is no serious damage or scrapes. The back of the medal says “Fur Treue Dienst”, meaning “For Faithful Service”. The ribbon is intact with some fading and discoloration but no fraying or tears. Overall in very good condition.
