Description
1/7/25 – From the collection of Jan Still, well-known author of collector resource books such as “Axis Pistols”, “Third Reich Lugers”, and more. Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity from the Sill family. This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1937. All matching with the proper “Eagle 83” military proofs. This is a second variation example with blued small parts. It has retained about 95-96% of its original finish with just very minor wear on the side plate, high edges, and around the muzzle. The slightest hint of thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. The bore has good rifling with light freckling throughout.
