4/8/25 – This is a 6-shot fluted revolver cylinder marked “44S” on the rear, indicating it is chambered for .44 Smith & Wesson Special. The cylinder is in excellent condition with a smooth, original finish and sharp fluting. It has no rust, pitting, or visible damage. There are no other markings present. The rear face has a light chamfer but is not counterbored, which is consistent with many .44 Special revolvers. Based on its features, this cylinder likely came from a vintage Smith & Wesson N-frame, Colt New Service, or possibly a high-quality Single Action Army clone such as Uberti or Pietta.
