9/12/23 – This is a very nice example of an AH Fox Side by Side Shotgun, manufactured in Philadelphia in the early 1900’s and chambered in 12 GA. It is all matching and has retained about 85% of its original finish. There is some dulling of the finish and some tiny handling marks along the barrel. The case hardening on the receiver is worn with spotty brown patina. There is no major damage to the wood furniture, but there is noticeable bruising and scratching throughout. The bottom of the butt plate is chipped. The bores show minor spotty pitting throughout.
