11/8/23 – This is an all-correct and original Springfield M1 Garand. The serial number on the receiver dates to about 1952, and the barrel dates to May of 1953. Proper Springfield inspection stamp and cross-canon cartouche on the stock. Below is a list of parts with their markings. The finish on the metal parts rates about 97% with just very minor high edge and muzzle wear. Very nice stock with only minor dings and scratches. Near-mint bore. Muzzle reading: 1. Throat reading:2.
