1/9/25 – This is an excellent example of a completely correct Winchester M1 Garand manufactured around D-Day, in June of 1944. A detailed parts list is included in the photos. Overall, the metal parts have retained most of their finish with just minor high edge wear in general. The wood is in excellent condition overall with very little sign of wear or use. There is a nice Winchester inspection stamp and cross-canon cartouche on the left side of the stock. The “P” proof appears to be double-proofed. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout. Muzzle reading: 0-1. Throat reading: 0-1.
