Description
12/4/23 – Up for sale is a Kar 98 made by Amberg in 1911. The rifle retains about 55% of its finish and the bluing is mostly gone and the metal has patina throughout. The stock has been sanded heavily with no proof marks visible. The metal parts on the rifle are mismatched. The bore is dark with good rifling but signs of corrosion in the rifling. Comes with an Imperial German “butcher” style bayonet.
