Description
11/17/25 – This is a scarce and highly desirable Colt Viper revolver, manufactured in 1977 and chambered in .38 Special. Produced for only a single year, with just a few thousand made, the Viper is one of Colt’s rarest modern double-action revolvers. Built on the lightweight alloy Cobra frame with a unique 4-inch barrel, it offers excellent balance and a sleek profile that collectors love. Because it was overshadowed by Colt’s more famous “snake guns,” the Viper saw low sales and was quickly discontinued, making high-condition examples especially hard to find today. This one is in like-new condition with essentially no notable signs of wear or use – barely even a hint of a roll mark on the cylinder. Mint checkered wood grips. Factory-new bore. Comes with its original matching-numbered box and owners manual.
