Description
3/12/26 – This is a minty example of a Smith & Wesson Model 39-2 manufactured within the 1979-1980 range, but the serial number puts it towards the end of that range. This S&W has retained about 97% of its original finish, with the only finish loss existing as some handling wear on the front strap (one scratch and a few tiny handling marks), some scratches towards the front of the rear sight arm on the top strap, and a few areas of discoloration near the front sight. Comes fitted with the period-correct wood grip panels, which show no signs of cracks or chips. The bore is bright with a mirror finish and crisp rifling. Fully functional, including de-cocker. Comes with two magazines, owners manual, warranty card, and the original, matching Smith & Wesson blue box and cleaning rod.
