Description
7/24/23 – This is an excellent example of an Arisaka Type 44 Carbine issued to the Japanese military during WW2. The gun is mismatched and has a mostly intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver, but it has been lightly defaced. The metal parts have retained about 97% of their bluing with very minor wear on some of the high edges and some finish loss from the light scratching on the mum. The wood stock is very nice with only minor bruises and dings throughout – a more noticeable blemish around the bayonet lug. Mint bore.
