Description
8/17/23 – This is a nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 issued to the Japanese military during WW2. It is all matching and has a completely intact Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. There is very little finish loss, but the metal parts are covered in noticeable brown patina, spotty oxidation, and pin-pricking. The back half of the stock is fine, but the front half has obvious damage, including chipping in the wood around the front barrel band. Excellent, shiny bore with strong rifling.
