Description
8/17/23 – This is an original WW2 production P.38 hard shell holster. The holster is maker stamped on the back leather with a “Bearskin Oak Leaf 9” maker logo. The date is at the base of this logo stamp, but unfortunately is no longer visible due to aging and surface wear around this area. From our experience and similar examples we’ve had, this is most likely a 1942 or 1943 dated example. Next to the maker stamp is a waffen military proof. There’s also a P.38 stamp to the right of the belt loops. The leather is soft and pliable with mild discoloration, light surface scratches and scuffs throughout. No notable stitching issues and all original stitching and leather throughout.
