5/19/23 – This is a beautiful, near-mint example of a Remington Rand Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1945. It is “United States Property” marked, has a cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame, and has the proper “FJA” inspector initials. Correct High Standard barrel. The gun itself has retained nearly all of its finish with very minor wear on some of the high edges and one small spot of minor wear at the base of the front strap. Fitted with excellent reddish-brown plastic grips. Comes with one magazine. The bore is shiny with very strong rifling, but there is very light freckling in some of the grooves.
