2/20/23 – This is a beautiful example of an original Army Colt 1911 that was made in 1918.Excellent bluing throughout, withmost of the finish loss on the front strap and a bit of edge wear on the mainspring housing.Proper barrel with connected PH marking.Terrific wood grips with no defects.Original two-tone mag.The bore does have some freckling and frost throughout as it seems it wasn’t cleaned properly after it was used at some point in the past.
