6/2/23 – This is a beautiful example of a Belgian Bayard Side By Side Shotgun, chambered in 16 GA and likely manufactured in the 1920’s. All matching with the proper Belgian proofs throughout. The barrels are blued, but the receiver is case-hardened and features a gorgeous, detailed filigree engraving pattern. There is very little finish loss on the metal parts, just a couple of tiny dots of discoloration and some tiny scratches along the barrel. Minty wood furniture. The bores are factory-new. Comes with an excellent leather sling. Small hand-inscribed import mark on the inside edge of the receiver.
