12/27/23 – This is a beautiful example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It is “United States Property” marked, has the proper FJA inspector initials, and has a cross-canon military cartouche. It has retained nearly all of its original finish with just a hint of muzzle wear and one small spot of wear on the right side of the slide. Fitted with excellent period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with one magazine. The bore has great rifling, but there is minor frosting in the grooves.
