12/20/21 – This is a beautifully engraved Smith & Wesson Pre-27 revolver with original ivory grips.It has a 3.5 inch barrel and comes in .357 Magnum.The engraving is done in the “scroll” style by Cole Agee. This pistol was done sometime in the 1950’s and Cole is well known in the collector community as a Master Engraver.His work is very desirable and tends to increase in value over time.The gun is all matching and original and in excellent condition.There’s a minor turn line on the cylinder and in great condition overall.The grips are original ivory and have a nice patina with nice graining on the bottom.Original nickel finish with beautiful gold wash on cylinder and cylinder release.Excellent bore and functions perfectly.This is considered an investment grade gun!
