Description
1/6/25 – This is a US Property-marked Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless. The gun was made in 1944, but these pistols were developed early in 1903 as small frame hammerless pocket automatic pistol and proved to be a very successful and popular design for Colt. They were eventually adopted by the US military during WWII as both a small frame sidearm and as a general officers pistol. This one is matching and comes with a Colt Factory letter that states this gun was shipped to a United States Government Transportation Officer at the New York Port of Embarkation on November 2, 1944. The gun has retained about 94% of its original high polish bluing with just minor high edge wear and a few small areas of very light spotty oxidation. Fitted with mint wood grips. Mint bore. It also comes with one tan leather holster and one magazine.
