Description
2/19/25 – This is an original British India Pattern Brown Bess Flintlock Musket, showing significant age and wear. The musket exhibits heavy oxidation throughout, with multiple cracks and breaks in the wooden stock, including a major fracture near the action. Some components are detached. Despite its condition, this remains a historically significant example of the early India Pattern Brown Bess. The lock, barrel, and brass fittings are present, though the musket requires restoration or can serve as a valuable source of original parts. This piece is being sold as-is, making it an excellent project for collectors, restorers, or enthusiasts of British colonial-era weaponry. Please review the photos for maker’s marks. Missing trigger guard.
