5/16/24 – This is a great example of an original British Martini-Henry 1876 Spike Bayonet. This bayonet has nice smooth edges with no dings or divot. There is some consistent oxidation throughout the faces of the spike. The beginning of the spike is marked on all three sides. The blued surface that mounts to the rifle is in excellent shape with very little wear, the locking mechanism spins smoothly.
