Description
5/14/24 – This is an excellent example of a British Officers Pattern 1831 Sabre, made by Rob Mole & Sons. The blade features a beautiful filigree pattern with a crown and is maker marked “Rob Mole & Sons / Birmingham / Makers to the War & India Officers”. The blade is very nice overall with only very light scratching and freckling here and there. Excellent ivory grips. The scabbard is nickel-plated and has retained most of its finish, just some minor freckling throughout.
