12/4/23 – Up for sale is an example of a British Lee Enfield No1 Mk3 SHTLE used by the British Empire during WW1. This rifle is in good condition for its age and has seen service. The metal has some bluing left but also has patina throughout. There is fine prickling from corrosion throughout the rifle and some surface rust that should clean up. The stock is in good shape with no major blemishes. The top handguard has a few small repairs on it. The rifle has gone through a re-arsenal as it has an old serial number scratched out and a new one stamped. The nose cap and bolt match the new serial number. The bore has good rifling and is fully frosted over but has brightness behind it when shining a light. Comes with a 1907 pattern bayonet and a canvas sling.
