5/28/25 – This is a BYF 42 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1942. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs. Fitted with a set of “Black Widow” bakelite grips (the right grip is authentic, the left grip is a reproduction) and comes with an original black widow magazine – no cracks or chips. The gun has retained roughly 75% of its original bluing with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and noticeable finish loss with freckling on the grip straps. The bore shows light freckling throughout.
