Description
12/5/23 – This is a unique example of a K98k that had the right side cut away to demonstrate the internal workings of the rifle. The rifle was originally a German-issued K98kbut likely was captured by or given to Yugoslavia as the rifle currently sits in a Yugo stock. The rifle is mostly matching with parts matching on the barrel, bolt, magazine floor, trigger guard, barrel band, and nose cap. The metal on the rifle is in good shape with some bluing remaining and has patina throughout. The buttplate is heavily corroded and has some active rust. The bolt is seized and does not fully unlock to pull back.
