Description
For sale is a Model 1898 Krag Jorgensen made at the Springfield Arsenal. This rifle has been chromed for likely ceremonial purposes at VFW and American Legions. The chrome finish is clean throughout the rifle with some of the finish chipping off around the receiver and buttplate. The wood furniture is clean and free of any major damage. The left side of the stock is stamped with “JSA 1899” stamp. The bore is dark with decent rifling. The crown of the muzzle is not smooth due to the chrome finish chipping.
