Description
6/9/25 – This is an original Civil War musket bayonet, metal scabbard, and leather belt loop. The belt loop has a metal medallion that is Massachusetts marked. Blade is US marked. There is no major damage to the blade, but there is obvious spotty surface oxidation and patina throughout. The same is true for the scabbard, and there is also a small dent. The leather belt loop is mostly intact, but it is a bit dry with surface cracking.
