05/15/2024 – For sale is a Colt 1911 made in 1918. The handgun rates at about 95% overall finish as there is some finish loss on the backstrap of the pistol, and pockets of wear on the slide and frame but still retains a nice finish overall. The bore is bright with good rifling but it is frosted over. The top of the barrel is stamped H and P and the side of the receiver is stamped with the Eagle Head S* proof.
