Description
03/03/26 – For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand assembeld around November of 1944. The rifle shows its age with the parkerized finish fading to a light, smooth grey. Stock is in good shape with a few dings on the surface. There is a very small spot filled in with putty on the right side before the end cap. The stock is stamped SA/GAW for the Inspector but we believe this to be illegitimate as the dimensions of the letter sand the box are off. The bore is bright with good rifling, there is frosting on the surface mainly towards the muzzle. There are a couple specks of surface pitting in the grooves at the muzzle. The muzzle erosion rating is 5 and throat erosion is 3. Barrel is dated 11-1944.
