Description
10/31/23 – This is an example of a very nice M1 Garand that was rebuilt in the mid-1960s using an original 1945 receiver. The rifle retains 99% of its finish as it went through the arsenal rebuild. The packetized finish is very clean and not much finish loss other than some small spots on the barrel. The stock is a post-war replacement and the barrel is also marked October of 1964. The bore has sharp rifling and is very bright but gets slightly frosted towards the muzzle. The rifle comes with a green canvas sling.
