Description
3/26/24 – This is a Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver from 1862, chambered in .44 Caliber. It is all matching with a naval engagement scene on the cylinder – mostly worn but still partially visible. Overall, the gun is in fair condition, but there is obvious spotty oxidation and brown “attic patina” throughout. There is some surface rust on the ejector rod. Fitted with period-correct wood grips – faint cartouches on both sides. There is noticeable damage on the bottom edges. The bore has great rifling, but there is mild spotty surface oxidation throughout. Fully functional.
