Description
3/13/24 – This is a Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver, manufactured in 1866 and chambered in .36 Caliber. It is all matching, but the barrel may have been re-numbered to match. The original Naval Engagement scene on the cylinder is entirely worn and not visible. The gun has lost virtually all of its finish with light brown patina and minor pitting throughout. Fitted with nice wood grips. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is spotty surface rust and oxidation throughout. Fully functional.
