Description
5/28/25 – This is a Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver, manufactured in 1857 and chambered in .36 Caliber. It is all matching except for the cylinder. Original Naval Engagement scene on the cylinder (<70% visibility). The gun has lost virtually all of its finish with honest "attic patina" throughout and some dings in the metal along the right side of the barrel. Fitted with period-correct wood grips – light dings and bruises throughout. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is spotty surface oxidation throughout. Fully functional with good timing. No FFL required.
