Description
4/3/23 – This is a very nice example of a Colt 1911 that was reworked, possibly for re-issue during WW2. The frame was made by Colt and dates to 1919. WW2 Colt slide. WW2-era High Standard barrel. The gun has a parkerized finish and it has retained roughly 85%. There is wear around the high edges, most noticeable around the muzzle and on the right side of the slide. Light spotty discoloration here and there. Fitted with nice brownish plastic grips. Comes with a reproduction magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
