5/18/21 – This is an original Colt Model 1917 revolver that was US Military issued.Barrel is marked UNITED STATES PROPERTY and the frame has Springfield inspection proof.Butt frame also marked U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917 with R.A.- inspection stamp on bottom of grip panel.The gun has a nice profile, but the grip frame is worn/browning.Also some wear on the cylinder.Strong, shiny bore.Note that the cylinder release is stiff and needs a little more force after the trigger has been pulled/hammer dropped.
