3/25/24 – This is a WW2 Commemorative US M3 fighting knife. These iconic fighting knives were a soldier’s best friend during WW2. Used in combat and as a utility knife, and later produced as bayonets for the M1 carbine. This example is made by Ontario and is maker marked on the blade along with US M3 and a 1943 date. This is not a WW2 original however. Excellent minty condition throughout with a few minor imperfections. Excellent leather handle and comes with a US M8A1 scabbard.
