5/7/24 – This is a very nice example of a Colt Government Model 1911 sold in the commercial market in 1916. The gun has retained roughly 75% of its original Colt bluing. There are areas of somewhat spotty wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide, around the muzzle, and on the grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips and comes with a two-tone magazine with lanyard loop. The bore has good rifling with but this is light pin-pricking throughout.
