6/19/24 – This is a Colt Bisley Revolver from 1906 with a beautiful custom filigree engraving throughout. It does appear to be a professional period-engraving, but not a Colt factory engraving. The back strap is mismatched. The barrel has no caliber listed, but we believe it is .44-40. There is thinning in the finish and areas of spotty discoloration throughout. Fitted with slightly worn brown hard rubber grips. The condition of the bore is poor – worn rifling with heavy pitting throughout. Fully functional.
