Description
9/6/23 – This is a nice example of a DWM Model 1906 Navy Luger. There is a “II. T. D. 1708.” unit marking on the back strap, indicating this gun was issued to the Torpedo unit. All numbered parts are matching, but the barrel is a 4″ un-numbered replacement. The gun has retained roughly 75% of its finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, but there is also some thinning along the right side of the frame. Fitted with mismatched wood grips – tiny chip in the upper corner of the left side. Comes with a mismatched but period-correct Navy magazine. Stone-mint bore.
