4/9/24 – This is a very nice DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1913. It is all matching except for the safety lever, which appears to have a “9”. It has the proper Imperial military proofs, and it looks like a unit marking was removed on the front strap. This one is transitional features – earlier no stock lug on the rear strap, and later hold-open. The finish rates about 90%, and virtually all of the finish loss is on the front strap where the marking was removed. Fitted with very nice un-numbered wood grips and comes with a mismatched magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout.
