1/20/21 – This is a really nice example of an early 1911 Colt that was issued to the US Military.The original finish is excellent and covers about 85-90% of the gun.All parts are also original early examples including the barrel (PH marked), the grips and the magazine.The magazine is two-tone with lanyard on the bottom.The back of the slide has the correct H on it.Bore is shiny and clean.Comes with a field service booklet dated 1914.It is signed by Lt. Richard Cox in June of 1915.Last page has serial number of the gun hand written as well as the Cox name – likely in the National Guard at that time, following his time in the Army.
