10/6/25 – This is a very early Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1913. It is “United States Property” marked and has the proper military inspection proof. Correct early half-moon rear sight. It has a scarce “P” marked Remington UMC barrel. The finish is nice overall, but the “United States Property” marking on the left side of the frame has been scratched off. Very nice condition otherwise. A few light surface scratches here and there and some wear on the back strap. Fitted with excellent correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone lanyard loop magazine. The bore is has decent rifling, but there is pitting in the grooves.
