5/8/24 – This is an excellent example of an early Ithaca Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It comes as a rig with a proper “S” marked magazine and a 1942-dated Boyt holster. We believe the gun has been re-parkerized with not much finish loss. There is just very minor high edge wear and an area of minor thinning on the front strap. Proper High Standard barrel. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Minty bore.
