7/24/24 – This is an original Krieghoff Luger magazine from WW2. The magazine is an earlier style with a nickel tube that’s unmarked. Near excellent overall condition with mild surface scratches and a few spots of mild patina. The button is sharp with some residue and wear within the grooves, but fully functional with a smooth action and strong spring. The aluminum base is stamped with a crisp, distinct Krieghoff Eagle/2 proof marking. The proof is upside down in relation to the serial number, which is common and correct. The serial number shows as “2241” but there’s evidence of a faint serial number slightly above these numbers, as well as evidence of slight sanding or alteration of the base to remove these numbers. Price reduced accordingly. Still and original and fully functional early Krieghoff magazine.
