06/02/26 – For sale is an Egyptian Contract FN49 chambered in 8mm Mauser. The rifle retains a nice blued finish with visible wear and fading to a lighter shade of gray. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. There is a rearsenaled repair at the top of the comb where it meets the buttplate. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling. The surface is frosted over, and there is wear on the rifling at the muzzle. The receiver’s top cover is mismatched with the receiver. The rifle comes with an FN 49 bayonet. The bayonet and scabbard match each other. Also comes with an English translated manual.
